Check equipment for damage, record hours used, mileage and fuel levels for billing purposes.

Load and unload equipment, assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rental.

Determine equipment available for rental.

Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs.

Ensure accuracy of rental contract information prior to dispatching driver.

Maintain customer relations via phone and fax, and making additions, cancellations, and changes regarding equipment location.

Coordinate transportation demands for equipment needs on a normal and emergency basis.

Responsible for scheduling drivers and organizing the daily dispatch of all equipment for the branch.

An ability to function well as part of a team.Effective organizational and communication skills.Demonstrate the ability to follow operational procedures.Demonstrate understanding of rental software.Demonstrate understanding of rental equipment.Previous dispatch and customer service experience in the equipment rental/construction industry and/or related field preferred.Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, gas and diesel machinery is preferred. We seek highly motivated and experienced Dispatchers with a background in construction and industrial equipment.
